Is There Any Species Engage In Sex Other Than Human Beings For Joy?
All beings engage in sex for reproduction. Human beings engage in sex for enjoyment and sex for reproduction alone is rare. Among females other than human intercourse is not allowed after conceiving, where as human beings engage in sex till the end of pregnancy.

yes there are two others like humans dolphins and pigs engage in sex for pleasure and they don’t have to be in heat. in fact pigs enjoy it so much that the female pig can have an orgasm lasting for up to 30 minutes

Yes. Many species gain pleasure from sex, and choose to have sex for the purposes of satisfying their sexual urges. The capacity to gain pleasure from sex is a trait that evolved in many types of animals as it tended to cause those animals to have sex more and be more likely to have offspring.

I know there are several species that masturbate, but I don’t think they engage in sex just for fun. Hamsters, dolphins, etc.
lol. I guess you could call what dolphins do “having casual sex”, but I always thought they just rubbed against each other without ever mating.

There are a total of six reasons humans have sex. For example, reproduction, recreational, enjoyment, advancement etc. Each of these six can be seen in monkeys. So no, we are not the only species.

Dolphins and bonobos for sure. I think we as humans should be putting this gift of pleasure to use! (In a non-promiscuous, safe sex kind of way.) Seriously, there MUST be a reason my g-spot exists.
