Is It Not Possible To Download Singles From A Bittorent Site?

I tried both mininova and isohunt and all they are offering me to download is the whole album. I only want singles.

    It all depends on how the torrent was made, if it has been compressed e.g (zip,rar) then you only have the option of downloading the whole torrent. But sometimes when they make the torrent they don’t compress the files; so when you open the torrent in your client you have the option of unticking the songs of which you don’t need.
    I suggest looking at a p2p like limewire just be careful what you download and make sure you use some antivirus software.
